Blackfriars is seeking passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term contract commencing Mid-Term 3, 2026 and concluding at the end of Term 4, 2026.

Reception Teacher - Full Time

Note: There may be the possibility of ongoing employment, subject to operational needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities: 

The successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that cater to the individual needs and interests of Reception-aged children. 
  • Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to ensure each child reaches their full potential. 
  • Establish strong partnerships with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development. 
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported. 
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and enriching curriculum that promotes holistic development.

Requirements: 

  • Experience working with Reception-aged children preferred. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences. 
  • Knowledge of early years curriculum and best practices in early childhood education.
