Role description

The Opportunity

We are seeking applications for a Primary Years Teacher for a 1.0FTE starting Wednesday 20th January 2027.  We are looking to employ a passionate educator who is interested in working in a team that focuses on excellent pedagogy, high expectations and student engagement.

 

About You

We are looking for someone who can develop strong working relationships and support our highly engaging learning environment.

 

The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to:

  • Actively support our Catholic Identity and Dominican Charism
  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of contemporary and inclusive pedagogies that promote learning for all students
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and utilise contemporary evidence-based pedagogies to promote high levels of engagement and excellent outcomes for a diverse range of learners;
  • Design inclusive learning programs where data informs practice, especially in teaching literacy and numeracy;
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of student wellbeing, social and emotional competencies, and catering for the individual needs of each child;
