Details: The Education Directorate is delivering a major reform of public education, bringing schools together as one coordinated system with consistent evidence-based practices, stronger equity and financial sustainability. We are standing up a new team and new roles to help us deliver meaningful change for children and young people in public schools.

We are seeking an experienced policy and project manager to help us see this change through. We need someone who knows how to get results in a government environment, who thinks critically, and who shows leadership.

The Director role is part of a Change Management and Implementation team that will lead change for the entire organisation. If you are a strategic leader, a relational collaborator, a great communicator and a motivated operator, this might be the role for you. The Director will also work flexibly across different areas of the branch and Directorate to align with organisational priorities.

The Strategic Policy branch is also hiring to similar roles at the Assistant Director (SOGC) level. Applicants who would also be interested in roles at that level may wish to apply for both.
