Instrumental Music Instructor Drums - 4.5 hrs per week

Selection Criteria

SC1 ¿ Demonstrated specialist knowledge and experience in instrumental music (drums and percussion).

Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality instrumental drum and percussion instruction to students with a range of abilities. Capacity to develop students' technical skills, musical understanding and performance confidence through engaging and well-structured lessons.

SC2 ¿ Demonstrated capacity to support student learning and engagement.

Demonstrated ability to establish positive and respectful relationships with students that encourage participation, motivation and achievement. Capacity to adapt teaching approaches to meet the individual learning needs of students and support their musical development.

SC3 ¿ Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.

Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with school leadership, classroom teachers, instrumental music staff, students and parents/carers. Ability to communicate student progress effectively and contribute positively to the school community.

SC4 ¿ Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage lesson timetables, maintain accurate attendance and student records, organise resources and equipment, and work independently while meeting school and Department requirements.
