Classroom Support Teacher (Time Fraction Negotiable)

Selection Criteria

SC1 Demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact, evidence-based instruction, including the implementation of effective intervention strategies that improve student learning outcomes.

SC2 Strong capability in analysing and using student performance data to identify learning needs, evaluate the effectiveness of teaching practices, monitor student growth, and inform targeted teaching.

SC3 Demonstrated capacity to develop and deliver differentiated curriculum programs that address individual student learning gaps and support students to achieve success within the Victorian Curriculum.

SC4 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive partnerships with students, families, teachers and support staff.

SC5 A collaborative approach to working within a professional learning community, contributing to whole-school improvement and student achievement. 

SC6 A commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous professional learning, and improving outcomes for all students.

Role

This role provides in¿class support to students and teachers across several classes. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong teamwork, and the ability to build positive working relationships with staff and students. Working closely with multiple classroom teachers, the position supports differentiated learning, assists with behaviour and engagement strategies, and contributes to a calm, inclusive learning environment.
