Selection Criteria

SC1 Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and effectively with students, parents/carers, colleagues, external providers, and community agencies.

SC2 Demonstrated capacity to establish, strengthen and maintain collaborative relationships between students with disability, their families, service providers, and the wider community to support holistic outcomes.

SC3 Demonstrated understanding of the challenges and barriers faced by students with disability and their families/carers, and the ability to advocate for equitable access to supports and services.

SC4 Demonstrated experience in building the knowledge, skills, and confidence of families and/or colleagues to navigate complex systems and processes.

SC5 Demonstrated knowledge of the operations and processes of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and/or experience working within specialist education or disability service settings.

Role

Range 4 is distinguished by broader management responsibility, particularly in the areas of finance, human resource and other support functions.  Range 4 is responsible for managing a range of functions under a wide range of conditions, subject to the size and complexity of school operations.
