Role description

We are seeking a Religious Education Teacher who will play a vital role in guiding young men to think deeply, act justly, and live with faith and integrity. This is a parental leave contract position, where you will bring your strong subject knowledge and engaging teaching practices to create learning experiences that are both intellectually rigorous and spiritually enriching. With a collaborative approach and a passion for student growth, you will foster a classroom environment where curiosity, respect and reflection thrive, supporting the holistic development of students in the Edmund Rice tradition.

Temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Parental Leave Contract position commencing Monday 12 October 2026 and concluding Friday 24 September 2027. 

The Religious Education program at St Patrick’s College works in partnership with all other faculties of the College. In particular, it works closely with the Spiritual Development program to ensure a holistic, human, and authentically Catholic formation of students, staff, and parents. As an experienced educator, you will delight in providing students with meaningful opportunities to engage with life’s deepest questions, enhancing their understanding of the nature and significance of religion.
