Role description


Heathridge Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of collaborative, energetic and reliable Education Assistants Special Needs for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise beginning Term 4, 2026 and up to the end of 2027. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Heathridge PS is an Independent Public School located approximately twenty-five kilometres north of the city of Perth. Heathridge PS is a small, family-oriented school where current enrolments are approximately 195 from Kindergarten to Year 6 with an existing 25% being diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder who spend a significant amount of time in their mainstream classrooms. There is a dedicated and professional teaching and non-teaching staff who are committed to meeting the needs of students and the school community, including a Specialised Learning Program (SLP) – Autism as of 2018. Applicants may be required to work in one of the SLP Rooms within the school.
