About the Role
Frederick Irwin Anglican School is seeking an experienced, innovative and passionate educator to undertake the role of Acting Head of Arts (Years 7–12) for the 2027 school year, covering a period of extended leave.
The Head of Arts is a key leadership position within the Secondary School and plays an important role in shaping teaching and learning outcomes across the Arts Learning Area. The successful applicant will provide leadership to Arts staff, oversee curriculum development and implementation, foster excellence in teaching practice, and promote student participation and achievement in Arts programs.
The ideal candidate will be an exemplary classroom practitioner who is future-focused, evidence-informed, highly organised and committed to continuous improvement. They will demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills, a collaborative leadership style, and a commitment to supporting the School's Anglican ethos and values.
