Located in the heart of Leederville, Aranmore Catholic College is a co-educational K-12 school committed to providing a holistic Catholic education that nurtures the intellectual, spiritual, social and emotional development of each student.
Our College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher – Science to join our vibrant learning community. We are looking for an educator with a strong understanding of effective science teaching practices for our primary students, commitment to excellence in learning, and a genuine passion for fostering curiosity, discovery and student wellbeing. The successful applicant will also embrace and uphold the Catholic ethos that guides all aspects of school life.
About the Role
We are seeking a Primary Teacher – Science who can deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate, and rigorous science learning programs for primary students. The ideal candidate will bring strong pedagogical knowledge in science education, a collaborative and team focused mindset, and a genuine desire to inspire curiosity while contributing to the academic, spiritual, and personal development of our students.
Key Responsibilities
•Plan and deliver high quality Science learning programs for K – 6 students, aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum
•Create a positive, inclusive, and well managed classroom environment that supports student engagement and wellbeing
•Assess student learning accurately and provide timely, constructive feedback in line with SCSA Achievement Standards
