The Head of Wellbeing (Primary) is a key member of the Primary Leadership Team. Reporting to the Head of Primary, this role provides strategic leadership for student wellbeing across Primary, fostering a culture of inclusion, belonging, personal responsibility and safety that supports students to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. The role leads the implementation and continuous improvement of the College Wellbeing Framework, ensuring wellbeing practices, programs and interventions are aligned with College priorities, contemporary research and the needs of students.
Working collaboratively with the Primary Leadership Team, Counselling Services, families and key stakeholders, the Head of Wellbeing (Primary) oversees student wellbeing, behaviour, safeguarding, transitions, student leadership and engagement initiatives. Through data-informed decision-making, staff capability building and a commitment to restorative, relational and strengths-based approaches, the role promotes positive student outcomes and contributes to a connected, supportive and inclusive Primary school community.
