St Pius X Catholic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher who understands the importance of the early years in laying the foundations for lifelong learning. We are looking for an educator who can create a warm, engaging and nurturing classroom environment where every child feels safe, valued and inspired to learn.

The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of early childhood development and be committed to fostering students' academic, social, emotional and spiritual growth.

About You

You will be:

• A registered teacher in South Australia (or eligible for registration).
• Committed to supporting the Catholic ethos and values of St Pius X Catholic School. 
• Passionate about early childhood education and the unique needs of Reception-aged learners.
• Skilled in developing positive relationships with students, families and colleagues. 
• Able to create rich, play-based and intentional learning experiences that promote curiosity, independence and engagement.
• Committed to implementing contemporary, evidence-based teaching practices that support strong literacy and numeracy foundations. 
• Focused on student wellbeing and creating a positive and inclusive classroom culture. 
• An energetic, reflective and collaborative educator who values ongoing professional learning and growth. 
• An excellent communicator who works effectively with students, staff, parents and caregivers.
