Chifley College is a multi-campus college established in 2000 to enhance educational opportunities for students in the Mount Druitt area. Mount Druitt Campus serves approximately 585–649 students, with significant diversity including 20–25% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and 52% Pacific Islander students. The campus is well-resourced through equity funding and flexible wellbeing, professional learning, and beginning teaching funds, and maintains strong partnerships with parent forums, local Aboriginal Elders, universities, TAFE, and community organisations. The school is committed to improving literacy and numeracy through explicit teaching, differentiated learning, and effective classroom practices supported by ongoing staff professional learning.

Position Information
Chifley College is a multi-campus college established in 2000 to enhance the educational opportunities for students in the Mount Druitt area. Mount Druitt Campus has an enrolment of 630 students, including 24% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students as well as 51% Pacific Islander students. The campus is committed to the NSW Public Education plan to lift Education Standards through literacy, numeracy, differentiation and explicit teaching. Our Inclusion Faculty has seven classes - an IM, IO and five multicategory classes.
Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach, knoweldege and understanding of, or experience in teaching special education settings, working with students who have mild and moderate intellectual disabilities, aautism, behaviour difficulties, physical disabilities or complex health care needs.
