Position Information
Proudly located in the Queanbeyan Network of Schools, Bungendore High School opened for the first time in 2023 for Years 7 and 8 on a temporary site while the permanent location is being built. The permanent site is expected to open for Day 1, Term 1, 2027. In 2027, we will have our full complement of Year 7 to 12 with approximately 280 students and 7% of students with Aboriginal or Torres Strait backgrounds. Located 30 kms from Canberra in a rapidly growing rural area, it is a short distance from Canberra International airport and a short drive to the South Coast or Snowy Mountains.
Bungendore High School’s permanent site will have modern facilities and will provide an inclusive, responsive and supportive environment that allows each individual to develop to their potential.
