About the Role

St Peters Lutheran College Springfield is seeking a dedicated and experienced French Teacher to join our Primary Years team. This full-time maximum term opportunity is available from July to September 2026 will see you deliver engaging French language learning experiences. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will inspire students to achieve their potential while fostering a safe, inclusive and dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging French lessons aligned to the learning needs of Primary Years students. 
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment that supports student success.
  • Monitor, assess and report on student learning and language development.
  • Build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues to enhance learning outcomes. 
  • Support the pastoral care and wellbeing of students through restorative and student-centred practices. 
  • Contribute to the broader life of the College through co-curricular, supervisory and team-based activities. 

What You Bring

  • Relevant teaching qualifications with French language expertise and current Queensland College of Teachers registration. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary language teaching practices, curriculum design and student assessment.
