Role description

At St Patrick's College, we believe some of life's most valuable lessons are learned beyond the classroom. Through our extensive Co-curricular Sports Program, students develop resilience, teamwork, leadership and a commitment to excellence.


We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate Cricket, Baseball, Basketball, Swimming and Touch Football Coaches to join our Summer Sport Program in September 2026. Whether you're an experienced coach or a former player looking to inspire the next generation, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact on young people while working within a highly regarded independent school sporting program.


These are Casual positions commencing in September 2026.

About the Role

Working with students from Years 5–12, coaches play an important role in developing skills, fostering teamwork and helping students build confidence through sport.

You will deliver training sessions, support students on game days and contribute to a positive sporting culture that reflects the values of St Patrick's College.

About You

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • A working understanding of, and commitment to, the Catholic ethos of a School in the Edmund Rice tradition. 
  • Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice.
  • Experience coaching or playing Cricket, Baseball, Basketball, Swimming or Touch Football.
  • A passion for developing young people through sport.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to motivate and engage students.
