DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Position Details

The Director of Community Engagement is a newly created position that reflects Trinity College's commitment to building a strong and sustainable culture of philanthropy and community connection. Reporting to the Business Manager and working closely with the Principal, College Leadership Team and the Trinity College Foundation, this role will lead the strategic development and delivery of the College's community engagement and partnership initiatives. As a member of the Trinity College community, the successful applicant will embody the Catholic ethos and Edmund Rice charism of the College, demonstrating the highest standards of personal integrity, professionalism and relationship-centred leadership. They will be an authentic and influential ambassador for the College, fostering meaningful connections with current and past families, Old Boys, staff, friends and the wider community to inspire generosity and long-term engagement.

The Role
The Director of Community Engagement will design, implement and manage strategic fundraising initiatives, campaigns, communications, events and donor engagement activities that strengthen our community connection and inspire philanthropic support which is aligned with the College’s strategic priorities.
Working with the Business Manager, The Director of Community Engagement will deliver an annual campaign, identify prospects, identify opportunities, solicit and steward major gifts and bequests, prepare communications and research and evaluate the impact of fundraising initiatives.
