Role description
We are seeking to establish a pool of Intensive English Centre Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
Thornlie PS Intensive English Centre (IEC) is seeking teachers who can ideally demonstrate their capacity to plan and implement a differentiated, targeted curriculum to a diverse range of English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) students who are in the early stage of learning English. Suitable applicants should have a thorough understanding of the West Australian Curriculum and the EAL/D Progress Map to inform their planning, teaching, assessment and reporting, as it is important to the role.
