Role description
St John’s Regional College is a Catholic, co-educational College in the Lasallian and Presentation traditions, serving the parishes of Dandenong, Doveton, Endeavour Hills, Noble Park and Hampton Park
About the role:
- Provide instrumental music tuition for individual students and group lessons on woodwind instruments (flute, saxophone and clarinet).
- Conduct various ensembles as determined by the Arts and Engagement Leader.
- Assist with concerts, recitals, and performances.

- High level of skill on their instrument.
- Ability to teach secondary school aged students (individually and in groups).
- A commitment to maximising student learning as demonstrated through the delivery of high-quality instrumental music tuition.
- Ability to teach using high-impact teaching strategies.
- Capacity to grow and develop the Instrumental Program through enthusiasm and commitment.
- Capacity to develop sustained and trusting relationships with staff, students, and parents/guardians.
- Willingness to work together with other Instrumental Music Tutors, Classroom Music Teachers, and Arts faculty as part of a cohesive, supportive team.
- Understanding of and commitment to the ethos of Catholic school education.
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Hold a current ABN for invoicing purposes.
