Position Details
Padbury Catholic Primary School is a double stream school founded in the Mercy tradition. The school caters for 504 students in a co-educational setting from Pre-K to Year 6. Padbury Catholic Primary School boasts committed staff who work together in a collaborative and high trust environment. We are seeking an Assistant Principal (Early Childhood Education) to lead excellence in our Kindergarten to Year 2 learning community. This role is ideal for an outstanding educator with a deep understanding of contemporary early years pedagogy, child development, play-based learning, and evidence-informed practice.

Assistant Principal (Pre-K to Y2) 
-Proven experience in leading high-quality teaching and learning through the implementation of the Western Australian Curriculum, with a strong understanding of SCSA assessment and reporting requirements.
-Excellent knowledge and experience of Early Childhood frameworks and accountability processes, including the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS), with a commitment to best practice in Early Childhood education.
-Highly developed skills in data collection, analysis and interpretation at student, cohort and whole-school levels, with the ability to lead staff in using data and digital technologies to inform teaching, learning and school improvement. Experience with systems such as Learning Insights, ELYND and On-Entry data is desirable.
