Role description
ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL - PRIMARY 3-6
Padbury Catholic Primary School is a double stream school founded in the Mercy tradition. The school caters for 504 students in a co-educational setting from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. We are seeking an accomplished Assistant Principal (Primary) to drive excellence in teaching, learning, and student outcomes across the school. The successful candidate will be a strategic and collaborative leader with demonstrated experience in curriculum leadership, data-informed improvement and driving school priorities in a collaborative context.
About You
-Demonstrated commitment to student wellbeing, pastoral care, inclusion and positive behaviour practices, with the ability to support the diverse academic, social and emotional needs of students and foster positive outcomes for all learners.
-Proven experience in leading high-quality teaching and learning through the implementation of the Western Australian Curriculum, with a strong understanding of SCSA assessment, moderation and reporting requirements.
-Demonstrated capacity to lead curriculum improvement initiatives, particularly in literacy and numeracy, through evidence-based pedagogical practice and a commitment to continuous school improvement.
-Highly developed skills in data collection, analysis and interpretation at student, cohort and whole-school levels, with the ability to lead staff in using data and digital technologies to inform teaching, learning and school improvement. Experience with systems such as Learning Insights, ACER, Assessform and CEWA data tools is desirable.
