Role description

Providence Christian College is a co-educational, non-denominational K–12 College located in Southern River, Western Australia, with over 1,150 students. We are committed to developing people of influence through Christ-centred education and are seeking an experienced and values-driven Finance Manager to join our professional and supportive team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a key leadership role in the College's financial stewardship while contributing to a thriving Christian community.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Business Manager, the Finance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the Finance Department, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll. Working closely with the Business Manager, you will oversee the College's financial operations, prepare management and statutory reports, coordinate budgeting and audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead the continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.

You will also provide leadership, mentoring and support to the Finance team while helping ensure the College's financial resources are managed with excellence, integrity and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and Board reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation and monitoring of the College budget.
  • Coordinate the annual audit and prepare audit working papers.
  • Prepare and review BAS, FBT, payroll and other statutory reporting requirements.
