Bruthen Primary School is in a picturesque rural setting overlooking the Tambo River valley. It has a long heritage and consists of a lovely red brick building which houses four classrooms (one being a well-resourced Library), administration, and staff areas. In addition to this we have additional portables used for, Art, classrooms and an additional portable used for hosting STEM.

We are a family-oriented school where all students look after each other and parents and carers are welcome and encouraged to be a part of their childs education. We are committed to providing a safe, secure, fun, stimulating, and challenging learning environment for all students. We believe students can reach their full potential when they are happy, healthy, and safe, and when the school culture engages, challenges, and supports them in their learning. In partnership with our families, we strive to help our students become confident, curious, and independent learners who feel empowered to meet the challenges at school and beyond.

In 2026, we have an enrolment of 64 students. Bruthen Primary School operates 3 classrooms-Foundation/Grade 1, Grades 2/3, and Grade 4/5/6 and is facilitated by 1 principal, 3 full time teaching staff.
