Haddon Primary School is set in a picturesque environment in the Golden Plains Shire 15kms outside of Ballarat with a student population of 230 students. Our school values are Respect, Effort and Kindness and these are the foundations on which our school is built. Our passionate staff are committed to developing students as lifelong learners.
The school is structured in composite year levels and in 2026 we have 2 Prep/1 classes, 2 year one/two classes, 1 Two/Three class, 2 Three/Four classes, 1 Four/Five class and 2 Five/Six classes. The school is in a beautiful setting with an Early Learning Centre, 2 Portables, main building containing our Library, Art Room, Administration, and several classrooms. We share our school oval and Gymnasium with the local shire and Haddon Community. At Haddon Primary School we provide a stimulating learning environment and can proudly say that the work embedded through our strategic plan has ensured that our school is safe and orderly.
Haddon Primary School is committed to ongoing development aligned with the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model (VTLM 2.0) and Victoria¿s approach to teaching reading. This is supported through ongoing instructional coaching cycles and whole-school professional learning, including staff meetings, school visits and curriculum days, with a clear focus on building teacher knowledge, strengthening instructional practice and improving student learning outcomes.
