Selection Criteria

• SC1 Experienced and skilled clinician with consolidated clinical assessment, formulation, and clinical reasoning abilities 

• SC2 Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced educational environment, managing competing demands according to College requirements

• SC3 Demonstrated experience in guiding allied health assistants in their clinical workload, and the ability to prioritise needs and service delivery across a team as well as the broader College

• SC4 Ability and initiative to support and assist the Senior Psychologist in delegated managerial tasks as requested

• SC5 Exceptional professional, interpersonal and self-reflection skills of a level suitable for supervision of students and Allied Health Assistants

Role Context

Occupational Therapy (OT) at Manor Lakes P-12 College is within the Allied Health Team, and comprises of a Senior Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Counsellor, Speech Pathologist and Allied Health Assistants, who provide assessment and intervention across the College. Led by the Senior Psychologist, the multidisciplinary team aims to improve student learning, wellbeing and participation in school life. The Allied Health Team focus is in identifying and addressing barriers to learning through specialised assessments, interventions, and building the capability of school staff to implement inclusive, sensory-friendly practices.
