We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English and Humanities Teacher to join our secondary teaching team full-time from 15 January 2027. Relocation assistance is available. 

About the Role

As our English and Humanities Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in English and Humanities across secondary year levels
  • Foster a love of literature, critical thinking, and clear communication in students
  • Integrate a Christian worldview and biblical values into curriculum planning and classroom culture
  • Support students' pastoral care and wellbeing 
  • Contribute to co-curricular life through clubs, camps, and school events
  • Collaborate with a supportive team of educators committed to whole-person education

About You

You will have:

  1. A relevant teaching qualification and current (or eligible) Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration (or the ability to obtain). 
  2. Demonstrated experience or strong capability teaching English and/or Humanities at a Secondary level.
  3. A genuine, living Christian faith and the ability to articulate and model this in a school setting.
  4. Excellent classroom management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
