The Role

We are seeking an Aboriginal and Islander Education Officer (AIEO) to join our friendly and committed team.

As an AIEO, you would ideally be well organised, reliable, and flexible whilst providing support and assistance to Aboriginal students, their parents/guardians, teachers, and the community through the knowledge, understanding and sharing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

AIEO’s would be passionate about enabling Aboriginal students to be successful as Aboriginal people and provide a safe and supportive environment for Aboriginal students. The ideal applicant should display a strong link to Aboriginal culture and establish positive working relationships with our families and local community. An ability to work well both in teams and individually to achieve successful outcomes for students and their families will be highly regarded.
