Role description
This is a permanent part-time (0.8FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026
Yanchep Beach Primary (PS) is an Independent Public School located within a new coastal estate 60 kilometres north of Perth.
The school opened in January 2014 with 319 students and as of 2026, there are currently just over 600 students. The significant expansion of the school has provided the school with additional staff, resources and the opportunity to create new and exciting learning experiences for its students.

The Role
As a cleaner, under the general supervision of the Cleaner in Charge/Senior Cleaner in Charge, is responsible for a range of internal and external cleaning duties. This includes maintaining carpets and hard floor surfaces, cleaning toilets, furniture, fittings, and windows, as well as handling tasks like dusting and rubbish removal. Vacation cleaning duties involve activities such as stripping and sealing vinyl floors, shampooing carpets, and pressure cleaning verandas.
The Cleaner is also responsible for reporting faults, maintenance issues, and incidents to the designated supervisor while ensuring that schools are cleaned and maintained in compliance with Department and occupational safety standards.
