ABOUT THE ROLE

HillSide Christian College is seeking a Secondary Education Assistant with a strong interest in, and practical competence within, Outdoor Education programs.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Outdoor Education teacher to support the preparation, administration and delivery of weekly excursions, outdoor learning activities and camps. The role will also include classroom-based Education Assistant support within the Secondary School.

This position is initially offered as a fixed-term contract for 2026.

Work Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
Full-Time Equivalent: 0.6 FTE

Subject to the successful completion of a probationary period, it is anticipated that the successful candidate will be offered an additional one-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of conversion to ongoing status.
