Position: Assistant Principal: Religious Education
Start date: January 2027
Employment Status: Full-Time (5 year Contract)
Salary: $149,764 to $157,118 (pending experience) + 12.75% superannuation

What we are looking for:
Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Principal: Religious Education (APRE) to join the leadership team at St Brendan's Catholic Primary School, Mackay.
This full-time position, commencing in January 2027, offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the spiritual and educational life of the school community.
The successful applicant will have a deep commitment to providing quality Catholic education, participate in the life of the parish, and have appropriate teaching experience, academic qualifications and leadership qualities.
The APRE plays a vital role in supporting the Principal in enhancing the Catholic identity of the school. This includes fostering the religious life of the school, and ensuring the effective teaching of Religion in accordance with the policies and practices of Catholic Education – Diocese of Rockhampton.
