This is a permanent full-time position commencing ASAP

The Quality Teaching branch sits within Statewide Services and contributes to the Department of Education’s commitment to ensuring every student has access to high-quality teaching and leadership. It supports schools by providing targeted services, expert advice and system-level support, with a focus on improving student achievement—particularly for those schools and learners who need it most—while also informing broader strategy and policy development.

Aligned to Professional Capability and the Teaching Quality and Innovation directorate, the branch plays a key role in strengthening teaching and learning excellence across the system. It builds workforce capability through the development and implementation of system-wide strategies, professional learning and innovative practices that enhance teaching quality, supporting improved outcomes for all students.

The Role

This role supports the development and delivery of Aboriginal language programs in schools by contributing to policies, procedures and strategies aligned with curriculum requirements. It provides specialist advice, guidance and professional support to schools, regional offices and stakeholders to ensure effective program implementation, while also assisting in the communication of policies, processes and outcomes.
