Role description

Selection Criteria

KSC1 - Experience in delivering structured Allied Health programs to groups and individuals as provided by the Allied Health professionals, adhering to the goals set in the programs. 

KSC2 - Demonstrated proficiency in handling confidential documentation, collating information and summarising and providing key data to the Allied Health Team. An ability to effectively prioritise administration tasks.

KSC3 - Effectively communicate clinical information, goal progress and behavioural concerns, ensuring concerns are escalated via the appropriate channels.

KSC4 - Highly developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. An ability to liaise effectively with external agencies and families.

KSC5 - Demonstrated experience working and building rapport with individuals with cognitive, functional or language impairments, trauma backgrounds and neurodiversity.

KSC6 - Knowledge and understanding of the Child Safe Standards.

Role

At Brinbeal Secondary College, the Allied Health Assistant will play an integral role in providing ongoing intervention to students and supporting the Wellbeing and Allied Health Team. The AHA will support students in achieving their therapy goals within an inclusive environment, while demonstrating the college values of Aspiration & Achievement, Acceptance and Respect. 

FTE: 38 hours per week (8.30am-4.30pm)
