New to Catholic schools? Our guide to teaching in Catholic schools covers RE accreditation, the diocesan system, pay, and how applications differ from government roles.
Role description
Located at the gateway to the Yarra Valley, Mount Lilydale Mercy College is a dynamic, co-educational secondary College grounded in the Mercy tradition.
We invite applications from highly motivated, innovative educators to join our community for a 2027 commencement as we open all Positions of Leadership for our upcoming three-year cycle. We are seeking talented teachers and excellent leaders ready to drive strategic outcomes across all portfolios in the College.
Leadership at Mount Lilydale Mercy College is Christ-centred and grounded in the Gospels and our rich Mercy Tradition. We believe that by recognising the dignity of each person and creating the conditions that foster a strong sense of belonging and hospitality, staff and students can actively engage as a community of learners so that each person grows. It is through a Mercy education that is personal, communal, transformative, engages the heart, develops servant leaders and pursues wisdom that we believe this can be achieved.
As stewards of this College, our leaders have an important responsibility to foster a culture of professional learning and growth, where expertise is developed and shared, creating the best conditions for all staff and students to flourish and thrive. Leaders at Mount Lilydale Mercy College have the capacity to articulate the College’s vision for the future and inspire others to follow, while recognising that leadership is both complex and dynamic.
