Assistant Principal - Hoxton Park Public School

Hoxton Park Public School is located in the south-west of Sydney, on Dharug Country, in the Liverpool Local Council area. The student population is currently 577 students, and our school community is diverse, with 74.5% of students coming from a language background other than English. First Nations people account for 2.5% of student enrolment. The student population is drawn from various socio-cultural backgrounds with forty-five identified home languages spoken. The predominant languages spoken after English are Arabic 33%, Hindi 10%, Vietnamese 9%, Samoan 9%, Khmer 8%, and Nepali 7%. Specialist teachers support students with English as an Additional Language or Dialect in the beginning and emerging phases. The school has two inclusive learning (support) classes and employs a speech therapist and an occupational therapist for their expertise in providing students access to the curriculum.
