Role description

Salary Range: $67,369 full-time equivalent plus superannuation
Employment Status: Part-time | Up to 24 hours per fortnight | 18-month contract
Eligibility: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

About the Role   

The Student Welfare Officer (SWO) supports the wellbeing of students by providing pastoral care and implementing strategies that promote a safe and inclusive school environment. You will work with students, staff, and families to address social and emotional needs, contribute to wellbeing programs, and support the broader school community. Once appointed, the SWO is required to complete a three-hour (during work hours) online professional learning package (PLP) aimed at responding to and preventing cyberbullying. After training, they will be able to respond to and help prevent cyberbullying.
