Role description
We are seeking to establish a pool of Home Economics Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 and 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
As a Home Economics Assistant, you will assist the teacher in the delivery of planned education programs and support the care and supervision of students. You will help prepare and maintain the learning environment by ensuring equipment, materials, and resources are available for classes, displays, demonstrations, and activities, and are stored safely and appropriately following use. Courses offered include Caring for Children, Children Family & Community, and Barista Skills. Experience in these fields would be highly desirable.
