We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of HSIE to lead our dedicated team of teachers and contribute to the continued growth of the HSIE faculty. The successful applicant will be an inspiring educational leader who fosters academic excellence and models a passion for teaching and learning.

About the Role

The Head of HSIE is responsible for the leadership, management, and development of the HSIE faculty, which includes subjects such as History, Geography, Commerce, Business Studies, Legal Studies, Studies of Religion, and Economics.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide instructional leadership that promotes high academic standards and a love of learning.
  • Lead, nurture, and develop a young and enthusiastic team to achieve excellence.
  • A demonstrated ability to teach Stage 6 Business Studies or Economics is essential.
  • Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and reporting within the HSIE faculty.
  • Support and mentor teachers in their professional growth and pedagogical practice.
  • Contribute to whole-school leadership initiatives and college-wide improvement plans.
