Role description

BGOSH AT BLUE GUM COMMUNITY SCHOOL!

BGOSH stands for Blue Gum Out of School Hours and it represents the program we offer to our students from 3-6pm daily and in the holiday breaks.

Rather than outsourcing this program, BGOSH is a program we run intentionally as a significant part of the school, staffed by our own Blue Gum educators and guided by the philosophy and culture of the school as a whole. In this way, even though BGOSH is not ‘school’, it is Blue Gum!

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A 2027 BGOSH DIRECTOR!

Monday to Friday, 2pm-6pm in Term times

Monday to Friday, 8-4pm in Term breaks*

*The BGOSH program closes for 4 weeks between mid December and mid January each year.

Our current BGOSH Director has set up an amazing program for our students and we are looking for someone to step into her shoes in 2027, when she heads into the world as a secondary teacher!
