Specialist Teacher

The Role

• Part-time (0.4 FTE) ongoing position
• Commencing 27 January 2027 
• Specialist areas: Science, Humanities, The Arts or Physical Education
• Salary aligned to VCMEA 2022 

You will deliver high-quality, engaging specialist programs while fostering curiosity, creativity and a love of learning across the school.

We’re Looking For

• Commitment to Catholic education and school mission 
• Expertise in at least one specialist area (Science, Humanities, The Arts or PE)
• Strong curriculum knowledge and engaging classroom practice 
• Ability to build positive relationships and contribute to a collaborative foundation team 
• Willingness to engage in professional learning

What You’ll Do

• Create a structured, supportive specialist classroom environment where every student can succeed 
• Plan and deliver clear, engaging lessons using explicit teaching practices where appropriate
• Monitor student progress and provide regular, meaningful feedback 
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency of curriculum and practice
• Build positive partnerships with families and contribute to a strong school community 
• Support the wellbeing and pastoral care of students in line with Catholic values
