Reporting to the Team Leader, Group Accounting, you'll play an important role in supporting the financial operations of one of North Queensland's largest education providers, helping ensure the accuracy, integrity and efficiency of financial processes across our office and school network.In this varied role, you'll contribute to a range of accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, asset accounting and financial reporting, while also supporting system administration, capital procurement activities and compliance obligations. Working closely with finance colleagues and stakeholders across our schools, you'll help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial processes, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support practical financial solutions that enable informed decision-making across the organisation.You'll bring experience working in a broad finance or accounting role and enjoy getting into the detail while still seeing the bigger picture. Confident working with financial systems, data and reporting, you're someone who can identify issues, investigate solutions and build positive working relationships along the way. Your strong organisational skills, attention to detail and collaborative approach will allow you to thrive in a role that balances technical accounting responsibilities with stakeholder support and system improvement.
