The ACT Education Directorate seeks passionate and aspiring fourth year undergraduate, and second year masters students, to apply for our Pre-service Teacher Program, securing your future as a new educator before you graduate.  

Our Permit to Teach Program is an employment-based pathway for students completing an initial teacher education (ITE) course. You’ll receive pay and conditions that are among the nation’s leading public school teacher salary packages and gain invaluable experience in an ACT public school
