Role description

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons to secondary school students.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student work to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to the overall educational and extracurricular programs of the college.
  • Maintain student records and samples of work and report on student performance to students, parents, the department and other stakeholders as required.
  • Actively participate in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your teaching practice.

  • Relevant teaching qualification and registration to practice in the Northern Territory.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject matter expertise and a passion for education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to promoting student wellbeing and supporting their holistic development.
