We are seeking an experienced and passionate Languages Teacher (Mandarin Chinese) to join our dedicated team for a 12-month maternity leave position, commencing in Term 4, 2026. The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic educator who fosters academic excellence, demonstrates a passion for teaching and learning, and is committed to supporting students in achieving their full potential.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chinese across Kindergarten to Yr 8 levels.
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching and learning experiences in Chinese.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach Chinese effectively across a range of year levels.
- Plan, prepare, assess, and report on student learning in accordance with NESA requirements.
- Apply effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive and productive learning environment.
- Use data-informed practices to enhance student learning outcomes.
