Primary objective
The Principal plays a vital role in delivering the strategic plan of the Department of Education and Training and is the leading educational professional at M’Bunghara School, who inspires students, staff and community members to optimise the learning of all students.
Context statement
M’Bunghara School is a very remote, very small primary school located 200kms west-north-west of Alice Springs, 46kms from Papunya Community. The school is the only government service provided in the community. The school caters for students from Preschool to Middle Years and is supported by the Remote Schools Support Unit in Alice Springs. It operates across the spectrum of the Australian curriculum and Early Years Learning Framework. The Principal has the responsibility to manage school operations as a leader of a small workforce.
