Murtoa College is a vibrant Foundation¿Year 12 school of 242 students, located

300 kilometres north-west of Melbourne and just 30 kilometres east of

Horsham. With 103 students in our F¿6 setting and dedicated classes at every

year level through to Year 12, we provide the unique advantages of a small rural

school ¿ strong relationships, personalised learning and genuine community

connection ¿ alongside diverse senior pathways.

In the senior years, students can pursue the VCE, VCE Vocational Major (VM)

and Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC). We actively support traineeships and

apprenticeships through strong partnerships with local industries and the

support of our onsite Headstart Coordinator. As a result of our targeted

pathways work and personalised support, Murtoa College has proudly achieved

a 100% Year 12 completion rate over several years.

Murtoa College services a broad rural area extending from Horsham to

Rupanyup and from Minyip to Glenorchy. Our feeder schools include Minyip

Primary School, Rupanyup Primary School and Our Lady Help of Christians School, and we work collaboratively through the Dunmunkle Cluster to

strengthen transition, share expertise and build professional networks.
