About Oxley High School

Oxley High School is a coeducational, comprehensive secondary school serving students in Years 7 to 12, located in North Tamworth, NSW, under the leadership of principal Simon Bartlett-Taylor. The school maintains strong ties to the North Tamworth community through academic, social, sporting, and cultural achievement. Its HSC outcomes are notably strong, with well in excess of 60% of graduating students — and at times up to 90% — proceeding to university. Many alumni have gone on to recognition at national and international levels across fields including Medicine, Law, Research, Creative and Performing Arts, and Sport. Oxley High School holds a distinctive strength in the Creative and Performing Arts, offering a dedicated CAPA Program alongside Stage 4 and 5 Dance Ensembles, a Vocal Ensemble, and Instrumental and Band Ensembles. Students with a visual arts focus can participate in Studio 66 Photography Club, providing an additional avenue for creative development. Sport is similarly embedded in school life through the TAP Sport program.
