About our College:
Sacred Heart College is a Kindergarten to Year 10 Co-educational Catholic College based on the charism of the Sisters of St Joseph, located in the central Hobart suburb of New Town.
As a Josephite College with an enrolment of over 980 students, we work to provide our students with a well-rounded Catholic education, encouraging a life-long love of learning.
Sacred Heart College is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and suitably qualified Secondary Teacher to join our Learning Support Team in an ongoing capacity.
To be eligible applicants are required to:
- Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.
- Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching.
- Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school.
- Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications.
- Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or be able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.
