Role description
About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and community-focused administrator to join the John Paul College community. The Administration Officer – Secondary School provides high-quality administrative support to the Secondary School Deans team and reception, with a particular focus on assembly administration, co-curricular attendance monitoring, and serving as a key community contact point during the afternoon and early evening hours.
The role hours are typically 10:00am to 6:00pm, ensuring the Secondary School is professionally supported from mid-morning through to the conclusion of co-curricular programs.
This is a permanent, term-time plus two weeks position, working Monday to Friday.
About the Role
From managing the Secondary School front desk and welcoming visitors, to coordinating assembly administration and monitoring co-curricular attendance, this role plays a vital part in the smooth operation of the Secondary School. The Administration Officer will serve as a key point of parent contact during the afternoon and evening hours – bringing calm professionalism and genuine care to every interaction.
The successful applicant will bring strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently in a fast-paced, student-centred environment.
This role will also be responsible for:
• Providing consistent reception coverage at the Secondary School front desk, working in partnership with the Student Services Officer.
