Role description
We are seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
John Butler Primary College (PC), catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6, is in the northern suburb of Butler. Opening in 2014, the college is of a modern and contemporary design, including purpose-built specialist facilities for students with disability, to create a positive and supportive learning environment in which all students can thrive. The innovative college model, which integrates a regular Primary Education Program and a dedicated Education Support Program for students with disability within one school, provides an inclusive and tailored learning experience to support students of all abilities to achieve their personal best.
Within the John Butler PC one-school model, suitable applicants may be asked to work flexibly across the college to support the learning of students in the regular primary and the education support programs.
