Role description
St Joseph’s School, Clare, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our vibrant school team/community.
The Opportunity:
Part-time 0.8FTE Replacement Teaching position, commencing at the beginning of Term 3 2026 until the end of 2026, able to teach some or all of the following:
- Technologies, Digi-Tech, Media Arts
- You may also be required to provide NIT release for other staff
The role requires a committed educator who values collaboration and demonstrates flexibility in a small school setting.
Incentives are available for working in the country, including relocation expenses and additional NIT for graduate teachers.

The township of Clare is well resourced with retail shopping options, 2 supermarkets, cafes, banks, butchers, bakeries, numerous sporting clubs and facilities, and more.
Clare is an easy commute to Adelaide (1.5hrs) and just 50 minutes from the beach, 50 minutes from the river and in close proximity to the Flinders Ranges. There are many tourist attractions close by including wineries and bushwalks.
About You:
- Demonstrate an understanding of current Primary School Pedagogy
- Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity, faith formation and Josephite Charism of the school and parish community
- Design inclusive learning programs with a high emphasis on student engagement, inquiry, active learning and creativity
- Plan, teach and assess authentic and differentiated learning experiences using the Australian Curriculum and Crossways
